Boulevard de La Croisette
Close to the Yolande and La Loggia Residences
You can discover one of the world’s most famous promenades just a few minutes from our residences – La Croisette. The name of this boulevard facing the bay of Cannes and its beaches is world renowned and was famous even before the creation of the Cannes Film Festival. This was during the 19th century, when the Côte d’Azur became the destination of choice for the English and Russian aristocracy. Cannes and La Croisette soon became home to splendid palaces and opulent villas.
Revel in the beauty of three kilometres of floral gardens and lawns planted with palm trees, stone pines and different trees all the way up to the Port Canto. Le Majestic, Le Martinez and Le Carton stand out on the waterfront, as well as casinos and beaches.
La Croisette is also home to the Palais des Festivals. Thanks to this building, Cannes is the second most important place for conferences in France after Paris. People from the world over come here to enjoy the International Film Festival, the MIDEM trade fair, major concerts, dance shows and plays.
